Parents for Reader's Morning
Alison Baldock, our Parent Liaison Worker, is starting Readers' Morning here at the Juniors. It will be each Tuesday morning and parents will be given the chance to come into school and read with the children. Reminders
Residentials
Mrs French and Ms Capey have asked me to remind parents about paying for residentials. The deadline for paying for the year 3/4 residential is Wednesday 6th March. The deadline for paying for the year 6 residential is Thursday 28th March. Please make sure that you have paid in full by the deadline as we cannot let children attend the residentials who still have payments due. Thank you!

This parents’ evening is an opportunity to talk to your child’s teacher about their progress (teachers will discuss assessment results from the autumn term and this term) and any concerns that either you or the teacher might have. Between 3.30pm and 4pm is usually the most popular time that parents ask for to see their child’s teacher. If you find yourself in the situation where you cannot have the appointment that you want or you cannot make either of the days parents’ evening falls on, please see your child’s teacher or phone the school and we will be happy to arrange another time for you to come in. Parents’ Evening letters are being sent out on Monday 4th March and should be returned to school by Friday 8th March so that teachers can give out appointment times the week after (week beginning Monday 11th March)

Cooking on a budget course –for parents of children on Free School Meals –starts Wednesday 23rd January 2013 in the community room at the Juniors Adult ICT beginners course -starts Wednesday 23rd January 2013 in the ICT suite at the Juniors.

A reminder to parents of children in year 6 that week beginning Monday 13th May 2013 is SATs week. It is important that the children are in school for the whole of that week to take their assessments.
